Rivian Center Console Tray

Rivian Center Console Tray

thingiverse

This tray is an adaptation of the shelf that I made for the Rivian center console/armrest storage. This model includes a tray and base. The base has sloped sides to match the sides of the center console/armrest storage area. The base doesn't need to print with support, but I recommend bed adhesion. The tray does need support, but it's only needed in a small area along the sides. The tray loads upside down in a slicer, so flip it over before printing to avoid excessive supports. Note that there is a little play between the top and the base, but it doesn't seem to rattle. I included bases in 3 different sizes. The short one should leave the top of the tray at about the point where there are USB-C ports and a bend/expansion at the front of the storage area. The medium one should leave the top of the tray a bit less than an inch above this bend. The large one takes the base nearly to the top of the bend, so it should leave the top of the tray about 2 inches above this point (this is the version in my photo). I also included several different variations in the tray. There is one with a thumb hole to grasp it (e.g., if you print a short base). There is a blank/square one. I also included a few variations with structures for pens and/or a tube of Chapstick.
