Rivet Pivot Test
thingiverse
In lieu of a Thing-a-Week, a daily challenge has been proposed: the Thing-a-Day! Today marks Day 2 and Day 3 of this endeavor, with rivet pivot tests featured on http://thing-a-day.com/. The focus is on creating an affordable, easily-manufactured rotating connection between 3D printed parts. These initial rivet pivot tests, while not yielding a totally frictionless joint, may prove useful in scenarios where some resistance is desired, such as stop motion figure articulation points. This journey continues with previous adventures highlighted at http://www.iheartrobotics.com/search/label/thing-a-month and http://www.iheartrobotics.com/search/label/thing-a-week.
