I redesigned the original setup because it didn't quite work with my red dot and Helios - I couldn't get a comfortable cheek weld and ran out of adjustment range on the red dot, so I made some changes to suit my needs. Firstly, I added 20mm of rise for better eye alignment. Secondly, I angled the rail down by three degrees to help compensate for parallax error. Lastly, I shortened the rail by about ten millimeters. The design prints vertically without any need for supports.
