That was the reason I started with Fusion 360 and eventually 3D printing. We tried to get a crank for an old RIV cash box, but after a long time it didn't work out. So, I decided to try in Fusion 360 and create a crank that would open the cash box. There's definitely room for improvement - as a first attempt it worked out pretty well considering how frustrated I was =o) Since the design didn't actually open the cash box, I ordered an Alfawise U30 and printed the crank as my first object. I think I got lucky more than anything else - but the crank fits. There's still a lot of room for version 2. Now it's time to learn how to work with Fusion 360 and the 3D printer.
