This 3D model was originally designed with Sketchup 13 before being converted into other 3D formats. Native format is .skp, with a 3ds Max scene based on 2016 version, rendered using Vray 3.00. Be it a fantasy or reality, this tower should become the new face of Downtown Minneapolis. The building will combine condos, apartments, hotels, and commercial space, reaching an approximate height of 300 meters, thus solidifying its iconic status in the city's skyline. Design inspiration comes from Trump's international hotel and towers as well as the shape of Loring Park when viewed from above. This tower would serve as a worthy successor to the IDS Tower. It could be referred to as IDS 2 or Nicollet Tower; either name would signify that it's breaking free from Minneapolis' stagnant post-recession era. Elaborating on its design, this tower features a geometric cylinder base that houses a major retail store (Walmart in this case) with an elevator running directly through the middle of the cylinder to reach the structure's rooftop. The rooftop resembles a true crown, showcasing its regal splendor. A spiral DNA double helix strand adorns the tower's spire, complete with LED lighting and imaging technology similar to Target Plaza south (100,000 LED's in a spiral pattern). The building's southern face also sports a double helix design running from the third floor to the crown, incorporating animated LED lights. Given Minneapolis' proven market resilience, I'm confident that this design will resonate with locals. Should this tower receive widespread support, it's not far-fetched to imagine OPUS giving serious consideration to its realization. Let's join forces and make this a beloved fixture among Twin Citizens!!! Disclaimer: All credits for the glass texture go to m b p; a master craftsman whose work deserves recognition. Thank them all for their outstanding contribution.
