Titled "Ritual Seat for a Noble," this ancient artifact dates back to the 19th century and originates from Indonesia's Sumatra, specifically the Gomo and Tae River region. Created by the Ono Niha people, it's made of stone, measuring approximately H. 27 1/4 x W. 50 x D. 30 1/4 in. (69.2 x 127 x 76.8 cm), and classified as a Stone-Sculpture. The piece is part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection, gifted by Jean Paul and Monique Barbier-Mueller in 1988 with accession number 1988.125.1. Micah Ganske and Colette Robbins captured a 3D image of it using Autodesk 123D Catch during the Met MakerBot Hackathon at the museum in June 2012.
