May 13, 2018 Update: Snub Nose Version Added for FPV Cam A new design has been added to the FPV cam so that the front of the camera is positioned at the edge of the print, ensuring the print does not appear in the FPV view. I built upon Havardsa's excellent design for a GoPro mount for the Drak and incorporated the ability to wire a charging cable. This allows the GoPro to be powered by a 5V regulator from the flight battery. The added tunnels conceal both the charge cable and the FPV camera wires at the back of the mount. The area for the FPV camera has been enlarged to accommodate various cameras, and the velcro strap slit has been widened. Although I haven't yet installed this on my plane, the print appears to work well. I printed it with PETG at 15% infill and four perimeter shells. ABS or PETG are recommended printing materials. Charge Cable Details: A suitable charge cable is available at hobbyking.com, specifically designed for FPV use: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/super-slim-gopro-3-a-v-cable-and-power-lead-for-fpv.html
