About 25 years ago, I designed and crafted a custom Risk! game board with an expanded layout featuring 60 distinct regions instead of the standard 42. To complement this enhanced design, I created a set of unique wooden pieces that added a personal touch to the classic game. As soon as I acquired my new printer, one of the first projects I undertook was replacing those wooden pieces with intricately designed plastic components. The process allowed for greater precision and durability in the finished product. The smaller armies, comprising 1 and 5 units, boast straightforward designs that cater to ease of printing. In contrast, the 10-unit army draws inspiration from 17th-century Dutch city fortifications, showcasing a more complex and intricate design. This custom Risk! game board is not limited to use in just one game; it can be adapted for other strategic board games as well, offering a versatile and engaging experience for players. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Epson Printer Model: PowerShot Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: .15mm or better Infill: A minimum of 20% is recommended Notes: The individual armies were printed in batches of 5 at a time to ensure optimal results and prevent any potential issues with the printing process.
