My oldest granddaughter just adores horses, much like many young girls do, so I decided to build one for her. The size of the model is best measured by referencing the width of a foot. This project was undertaken on a desktop CNC machine provided by Stepcraft using 6 mm beech plywood and a spiral-toothed 1.5 mm flute. After machining, it required some minor sanding and simple assembly using glue to complete. The bolts were used solely for ease of alignment. Next time I will ensure the outer components are cleaner. A laser cutter could potentially be an ideal alternative tool for creating even smaller versions. Possibly, you could fabricate a model using aluminum or brass, then screw the parts together to create a tiny key fob. For more animals, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/Spielsachen/Tiere.
