Riser Legs for AM8 Printer
thingiverse
These legs will raise your AM8 printer frame approximately 10cm, providing some space underneath for things like my MKS Gen 1.4 Electronics Control Box (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3793851). There's only one .STL file needed; however, you have to print two in the normal orientation and then print two more that are mirrored in your slicer to create the opposite orientation. The standard orientation pieces would be for the front left and rear right. To mount these legs, you'll need some hardware: * 24 M5 x 10mm Hex Button Head Screws * 24 M5 T-Slot Nuts * 4 M5 x 20mm Hex Socket Head Screws (to attach feet) * 4 M5 Nuts (inserts in legs to attach feet) * 4 Rubber Feet (like these https://www.amazon.com/BCP-24pcs-Bumpers-Rubber-21x12mm/dp/B073PWW95L/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Black+Color+Rubber+Feet%2C+21x12mm&qid=1572482568&sr=8-1) I used a hard rubber mallet to insert the M5 nuts into the bottom of the legs. The two top-facing M5 button head screws in each leg were fastened after the legs were attached on the sides.
