I had a problem with my entry door's trim where the alarm sensor magnet wouldn't connect properly with the receiver part. To fix this, I created a simple riser that attached the receiver to it and then secured both the riser and the door together using high-quality double-sided mounting tape. This solution worked perfectly and resolved my issue.
