Day 100: Unveiling the M'org Sculpting Kit. Well, this daily model challenge has been a thrilling experience, but it's time for me to take a break and redirect my creative energy towards our next ambitious project. Here are the assets I used to create all those skeletal Zeta-Reticulans so you can remix, modify, or completely reimagine them to your heart's content! Included are OBJ files for Sculptris and Blender, as well as a 3MF file for seamless use in 3D Builder. If you're new to 3D Builder, it comes pre-installed on Windows 10 and is incredibly user-friendly. I recently created a tutorial video that will walk you through its broader capabilities. The model itself creates the more delicate versions of the skeletons, but you can utilize the inflate tool to thicken them to your liking. (Blender and Meshmixer offer excellent tools for this.) When thickening the models, I recommend focusing on the limbs, neck, and joints, while avoiding significant alterations to the skull or torso. To distress the vac armor, Blender excels at this task, allowing you to overlap it with the skeleton before using various tools to damage the armor and reveal the skeleton beneath. The helmet is hollow, making it perfect for creating a shattered appearance. (The subtract function in 3D Builder proves particularly efficient for this.) If you create something amazing, please share it with me! I always enjoy seeing what others have come up with. For those considering supporting us on Patreon, our patrons receive exclusive weekly model releases, early access to new storefront releases, and our entire back catalog. They also gain licensing options to sell printed versions of our designs.
