Day 100: Risen of M'org Sculpting Kit. Well, this model a day thing has been a blast, but it's time for me to rest a for bit and focus my creative energy on our next big project. Here we have the assets I used to make all those skeletal Zeta-Reticulans so you can remix/modify your own to your heart's content! Included are OBJ files for Sculptris and Blender, and a 3MF file for use in 3D Builder. If you haven't learned to use 3D Builder, it comes native to Windows 10 and it's extremely user friendly. I recently made a video that will walk you through the broader functions. The model as is makes the more delicate versions of the skeletons, but you can use the inflate tool to thicken the models to your liking. (The tools in Blender and Meshmixer are great for this.) If you're doing this, I would advise doing so on the limbs, neck, and joints, but avoid impacting the skull and torso too much/or maybe at all. When it comes to distressing the vac armor, Blender is great for this, as you can overlap it with the skeleton then use various tools to damage the armor and expose the skeleton beneath. The helmet is hollow so you can create that shattered look. (The subtract function in 3D Builder is really efficient for that.) If you make stuff, let me know! I always love seeing derivatives. For those of you thinking about supporting us on Patreon, our patrons get special weekly model releases, access to new storefront releases and our entire back catalog, plus licensing options to sell printed versions of our designs.
