I purchased an older drone on eBay, specifically a Rise RXS270, and completely overhauled its frame. I utilized all the components that came with the model and merely added a new receiver and VTX. By removing a few standoffs and a carbon plate, I was able to shed weight from the drone. However, adding 3D-printed parts offset this reduction in weight, resulting in a net gain of weight. Despite these modifications, I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome and find it flies exceptionally well. Its performance is indeed suitable for use as an aerial film drone. The components I added to the drone are listed below: * VTX: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/mmDvVYZt1K (an excellent value for money!) * RX: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/vDK3rolwMe * Camera: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/3mmGVESH2j I also added an antenna, which can be found here: https://www.banggood.com/custlink/3DDD5E9PfA. While not strictly necessary, it does contribute to the retro aesthetic of this drone.
