"Risa" Back Scratcher

"Risa" Back Scratcher

thingiverse

I have been married for 20 years to a type 1 diabetic. My wife over the last 2 years has lost her fingernails due to complications with her disease. She is always asking me to scratch her back since she is unable to do it herself. I designed this for her as she doesn't like standard issue back scratchers. I designed this to be strong without super-dense infill however it will be limited by the material it's printed in. Another way of saying it's not a baseball bat so don't use it as one. My design choice for the head of the scratcher is to allow deep scratching without damaging the skin so I recommend printing with the "scratcher head knobs" facing up so support debris wont hurt the user. I printed this using Cura slicer's experimental tree supports. These are great supports for maintaining finish and cutting down print time so check them out as this is a large print. I appreciate any feedback as this is the first thing I have ever published on Thingiverse. Thanks for looking and for your support.
