RIS/Picatinny riser (metric parts)
thingiverse
Why do I have a T1-style red dot that sits very low on the rails of my airsoft replica's? This print raises your sight by ~32mm which is perfect if you're using goggles/helmet/mesh covers. Features: Works perfectly on standard 21mm Picatinny/RIS rail Uses metric nuts and bolts for a sturdy hold Wise advice: wisdom tooth not included, but who needs one? Instructions: Print it in PETG for an incredibly strong part that lasts Uses M3 nut and M3x30mm (or longer) bolt for added security Use supports and print it with the front or backside on the build plate for optimal results Open Source: As always, the original design file (fusion360) is included, so feel free to improve it (or learn from it)! Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: None needed Supports: Yes, use them for a secure hold Resolution: 0.2mm for precision printing Infill: 15% for a strong yet lightweight part Notes: I highly recommend at least two perimeter shells and top/bottom layers. For best results, use PETG for an incredibly durable print. Print it with its front or backside down and use supports for maximum stability!
