Riptide - Resin Friendly
thingiverse
This is a Resin Remix of this awesome Riptide https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3021314 I decided to share just the parts which I wanted to pre-assemble and print in larger pieces, leaving out the rest. A few parts were hollowed so you can choose which ones you prefer. Some parts have pre-supported options, and if you run them through Photon File Validator they should print without islands. Just as with the original, if you don't use my pre-supported build plates you will need to mirror copy certain items like the backpack. I included my 3 islandless build plates in *.photon format, so before I started pre-assembling I printed a couple things in parts so they are not on any of the 3 build plates. You can find them in the files. What I'm trying to say is if you just print the 3 build plates I have included you will be 90% done. I set it up for 0.05 layers at 16s per layer, but if you need different exposure settings then load the *.photon in photon file validator, press save and it will pop a window giving you a chance to change exposure times. Build plate 3 also contains 2 Shielded Missile Drones which I made to go with this Riptide print. I couldn't fit the smoke flight stand on the build plate so you'll need to set that up yourself. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3636384 This took me a long time to organize and setup, so I figured I would ease the pain for others by sharing it. Enjoy and good luck. I added the Chitubox files for the build plates for anyone not using a photon, which won't be completely islandless but if you run it through validator it will be pretty good. I also added a photo of my completed print. You can see the Ion Cannon has a milliput join line as it was one of the original things I printed before pre-assembling everything. It has a file pre-assembled but is not on a build plate I have provided. The heavy burst canon is though.
