I added a 7mm hole down the center of the length of the sword to put a metal rod in it. I am scaling up this model in the slicer to 113.5%(to more closely match the 3ft of the "actual" sword) so the hole will be 8.1mm in diameter to fit the ~8mm threaded rods I have. Hope it helps!
