RioRand Motor Controller Box
thingiverse
I quickly whipped up a DIY enclosure for the RioRand Motor Controller, available on Amazon. Most users agree that it doesn't heat up enough to require vent holes, but I included them just in case. To secure the electronics and box, I didn't use the mount holes provided. Instead, I printed the design without them and used a handheld drill to create my own mounting points. Small brass screws were then used to hold everything in place. You can achieve the same result by using long M3 bolts and nuts. I held the lid shut with a small amount of hot glue. If I ever need to replace the fuse, it should be easy enough to pry the lid open again.
