THIS IS AN ASTHETIC ITEM ONLY. ABIDE BY YOUR LOCAL LAWS.I have a "Tactical" Rossi Rio Bravo 22LR Lever Action with a plastic MLOK forearm. I bought a wood forearm to replace the plastic one. I did not realize that the notch for the forearm band screw is in a different location than the models with a wood forearm until after I bought a wood forearm to replace it. I did not want to alter the barrel of my lever action by milling a new barrel notch in case I might switch back to the plastic one. I did not want to buy a new barrel assembly. This adapter allows you to fit a Rossi RL22 wood forearm to your "tactical" length barrel with aforementioned screw notch. Because tolerances of the screw location can be different from rifle to rifle, the hole for the screw must be drilled after printing. I counter sunk a machine nut with the included Rossi nut cap (use super glue to fix it to the nut and body of the adapter), but that isn't strictly necessary. The screw I used as a thru screw was under 25mm, but I am unsure of exact length. You will want to sand and file the inside of the adapter that meets with the wood forearm if it feels too tight. So far this print is holding up, 22LR barrel levers don't get too hot so thermoplastic should work.
