WARNING! This Rhino source file is specifically designed for creating parts using boolean addition and subtraction techniques. Although the initial conception of this model had a live-like look and feel, the use of advanced Rhino3D tools was not necessary. A one-of-a-kind piece, some claim it's actually the wedding ring of renowned Russian film director Bodrov. This model appears even more impressive when created with a CNC milling machine. I have successfully printed and milled this design before, and I can attest that milled models look better than printed ones. The creator of this digital model is Dashi Namdakov; he retains all rights to replication. I merely offer the digital version I scanned, restored, and adapted into a ring several years ago. I was given the opportunity to scan the original model from which this design originates. My superior scanning skills ensured that it captured every detail with precision. The STL file included is prepared for printing or CNC machining, as well as a raw, unaltered source mesh made directly from the originally hand-sculpted clay model by skilled artisan Dashi Namdakov. Since this unique ring was designed based on a 3D scan and lacks definitive dimensions, each experienced user can adjust the basic mesh to suit their desired size. This particular design has an inner diameter of approximately 20mm and a volume of about 1270 cubic millimeters (equivalent to around 12.7 grams in sterling silver). I recommend creating a lighter version manually for optimal results. This raw scan, free from post-processing or editing with software like ZBrush, serves as clear evidence that it's indeed the real deal. The source mesh is fully prepared to create an ideal STL model that has been successfully tested on several high-end printers and CNC machines.
