Ring Video Doorbell Wired Ender 3 Pro Mount
thingiverse
Hi, everyone. I've been wanting a good way to monitor my Ender 3 Pro printers which are in my workshop without having to walk back and forth from the house. Amazon had a sale a couple of weeks ago for a basic Ring doorbell camera for $30 (linked below) so I bought a couple and created a mount to attach them to the 2020 extruded aluminum that makes the base of these printers. Because these cameras can operate on 24 Volts, I simply hard-wired it directly into the power supply of the printer so they power on and off whenever I turn the printer on or off. I also designed some small attachments to keep the power wires for the camera held in place. Use the links below to find the mounts I designed, cameras (not affiliate links), and hardware I used to attach the mounts to the aluminum profile of the printer: Ring Video Doorbell Wired: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CKHPP52 Slot Nut Assortment: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z4YH6NP 4-mm 0.7 x 10-mm Phillips-Drive Machine Screws: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-4mm-0-7-x-10mm-Phillips-Drive-Machine-Screws-12-Count/999994832 4 x 3/8-in Phillips-Drive Screws: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-4-x-3-8-in-Phillips-Drive-Sheet-Metal-Screws-24-Count/3034789
