Ring Video Doorbell 3 Mount Adapter
thingiverse
### Description To avoid drilling new holes, I created this mount adapter to replace my existing two hole doorbell with the Ring Video Doorbell 3. ### Variables In the FreeCad file, there's a spreadsheet with all of my model's variables. These variables can be used to fine tune the model for your specific needs. - Angle: The mount adapter is slightly angled so the Ring Doorbell will sit vertically against the siding. This angle can be adjusted using the "top width" and "bottom width" variables. - Screw Distance: The distance between holes can be adjusted using the "wall mount distance" variable. - Ring Mount: The Ring Doorbell screws into the mount. The screw threads for the Ring should bite into the model. Look for layer separation. If layers separate, make the holes larger. This variable is "ring mount inner radius" - Wall Mount: The screws that mount into the wall should catch the head, but not the threads. If these holes need to be larger, update the variable, "wall mount hole"
