The jewelry pieces weigh around a certain number of grams each and measure a specific millimeter diameter. Female-size earrings measure roughly seventeen millimeters in diameter, with weights ranging from about five point zero eight grams when made from white gold to three point six grams if made of silver. A gemstone measuring about one quarter inch in size accounts for nearly all of that weight at around eighty-five percent or so. Male earrings, however, are slightly larger in diameter by about four millimeters compared to the female counterparts. Their overall weight ranges approximately from six point four grams when crafted from white gold and goes up to just over four and a half grams when created with silver metal.
