Ring Spot Light Camera Angled Mount

Ring Spot Light Camera Angled Mount

This is for the older Ring Wired Spot Light Camera.(Should work for wireless and/or newer models with modifications)This camera comes with a long plug in wire instead of being hard wired.I took the back plate off, drilled a hole in it, cut the plug off and pulled the wires through the hole so it could be hardwired. (Also stuck a black rubber cork in the hole the wire used to come out of)Then made this so I could mount it at more of an angle, so I could see my house instead of my next door neighbors. The camera mounts to the angled adapter using 4 M3 screws, then the adapter mounts to the wall using standard wood screws with a cone shaped head so they are flush with the surface.I made 3 versions. One is just the top half to mount on any flat surface. One has a collar, so standard home siding panels can be tucked in around it to make sure everything is sealed nicely, but you'd have to be re-siding your house to make use of that. And a version that is segmented so the housing can be removed from the collar to access/replace the camera after the siding is installed around it. (Segments attach together using 4 M4 screws and nuts)Will work fine without wiring mods, but my whole point was to have no exposed wires and get a much sharper angle on the camera.Printed both halves of segmented version with PETG laying flat without any supports, and turned out pretty perfect.
