This is a 3D-printable ring size gauge designed for professional jewellers. It allows them to accurately measure the internal diameter of finger or toe rings with ease. Used by experts in the field, it features two international standard scales: the numeric US scale and the alphanumeric UK scale. A third scale indicates internal ring diameter in millimeters for added precision. The design includes an M6 diameter hole in the base, enabling users to securely stand it on a rod in a vice for hands-free measurement. To enhance legibility, users can choose to highlight the scales and divisions with contrasting paint. For improved readability, I applied dark wax to my printed gauge by rubbing it into the scales. This simple touch greatly enhances the overall design.
