A circular model featuring an embedded flower was created by Carissa. To achieve this design, she used Adobe Illustrator to craft a ring with a square-shaped top to accommodate the flower. Multiple test runs were conducted to fine-tune the shape, size, and hole of the ring. Once satisfied with her design, she printed three copies, which she glued together. The flower was then designed and encircled by a path for precise cutting. A square matching the dimensions of the rings' cube was added to fit within the flower. The laser cutter settings used were a raster speed of 100, raster power of 50, vector speed of 12, vector power of 100, and vector frequency of 5000.
