Ring Pro Replacement Button
thingiverse
Ring apparently refuses to replace their product or even send a replacement button, despite knowing that their buttons break frequently. The issue has been extensively discussed on various online forums. I purchased my Ring Pro during a Black Friday sale two years ago and it had long since fallen out of warranty coverage. When the button broke, I was willing to simply replace it, but Ring doesn't sell individual replacement parts - they insist that customers buy an entire new unit instead. Fortunately, the rest of the device still worked, so I decided to take matters into my own hands by disassembling it and measuring the old broken button. Using Fusion 360, I created a similar replacement button in a relatively short amount of time. After just a few iterations, I had reassembled the unit with a much more durable button.
