In Mordor's fires, a single ring was forged to rule and bind in darkness; an elfish-designed modular piece with detachable gem. Print the base or full ring sideways, using rafts but no supports, adjusting size as needed via trial and error. The gem attaches with superglue, printed slightly smaller than the base for a snug fit. Best quality at 100 micron layer height due to intricate sides. Designed in Modo from base ring model.
