RingMaker is an innovative application that transforms 2D images into 3D objects using color values for extrusion. It works best with jpg, jpeg or png files featuring a colored background (black, white included - no transparency) in stark contrast to the image's subject. A gradient image from white to black will create a volume with a sloping shape. RingMaker was designed by The Future Now Association and developed by Joël Belouet.
