Ring Magnet Quad Angle Generator
thingiverse
I'm going to create a system that generates electricity by placing Ring Magnets in repulsion and studying how much electricity they produce when rotating with one or more Magnet Wire coils. You can use Magnetic Film to observe how the shape of the Magnetic Field changes as you adjust the angle between the magnets in repulsion. The included 3D files have magnets positioned at 45 degrees and 60 degrees. The magnets used here are 0.75 inches in diameter with a 0.25 inch thickness and a 0.25 inch center hole diameter. When the magnetic fields interact, they will repel each other, causing them to spread outward by a certain distance from one another. This effect can be observed using Magnetic Film. The goal is to determine where the field is strongest when the magnets are in repulsion, then wrap as much Magnet Wire around a coil in that region to generate the most electrical energy possible. The central shaft of these 3D components measures 0.25 inches in diameter. These 3D parts were created using eMachineShop's free software package.
With this file you will be able to print Ring Magnet Quad Angle Generator with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Ring Magnet Quad Angle Generator.
