Ring made to adapt an addon lens to go as low as 66 micron
thingiverse
Hi, Here's a shared object that enhances the G3D T1000 DLP resin printer, mainly used in 100 micron mode at 66 microns with a warning: it causes small barrel distortion mainly on the outside. I'll use software compensation for slices in future updates. The insulation size goes as low as 100x76 (1.50) and 66x50 mm at 66 microns. I used an affordable lens from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2015-New-Arrival-BIg-Glass-lens-77mm-led-optical-lens-reflectors-fixed-ring-for-20w-200w/32260191766.html No issues were seen with UV light. I'll post a small tutorial on the T1000 forum to assemble (it's easy!) at http://www.g3dforum.com/index.php The curing time is also lowered: * 12 seconds for the first three fixing layers * 0.9 seconds for other slices in 7.5 micron slices with red resin * I think 0.8 or less will be okay, but the vat tilt system can't handle it on long periods of time; it froze at 0.7 seconds in a previous test. Don't forget to change the size in G3D layout: multiply X and Y by x1.5 only!
