Ring light flash adapter for Canon Powershot SX1 IS
thingiverse
This build fits perfectly from my printer, but the thread on the screw-in for the canon lens doesn't fit by screwing in - instead, you'll likely need to push it into place. First time around, I had some issues fitting a prototype, resulting in lens errors that disappeared after removal, and didn't happen again in later builds. The outer diameter of the powershot end is approximately 51.5mm, while the diameter for the ring light/filter is 49mm. Mechanically, it works flawlessly; with my model of flash, I can see the inner cone of the flash even when zoomed all out. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech i3 B Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 50% Notes: If you want a sturdy build, then an infill of 50% is the minimum I'd recommend - it still uses less than a meter of 1.75mm filament.
