Ring from the Angel Swoop collection

The approach I took for this competition involved crafting a cohesive collection that maintained an aesthetic continuity by originating each piece from a singular seed design. To begin, I modeled a shape that embodied a feminine flow and feel through sweeping lines and rounded forms. My partner aptly described it as a swooping angel, which is how the collection earned its name. The seed design served as a foundational starting point for every piece in the collection. When creating this ring design, my goal was to stay true to the simplicity of the band form while incorporating a complex texture that elevated its practicality.
