Ring Doorbell Pro siding mount with standard mounting holes
thingiverse
I was drawn to the Ring Pro mount by drdobsg, but it departed from industry standards in its mounting hole locations. Since I had already installed our doorbell using the standard wedges that came with the Ring Pro, I sought to reuse those holes. Fortunately, the new holes were spaced correctly apart, although not quite aligned at the right height. I decided to relocate the doorbell slightly anyway, and this design still covered the old holes, so I opted to keep it. This mount offered a lower profile compared to the standard 2 wedges, maintaining the same angles while avoiding the unsightly sag at the bottom of the siding. The result looked more professional. To further enhance the design, I added a water drainage channel to reduce plastic usage and prevent water from accumulating behind the mount and siding.
