This adapter fits perfectly with a standard ring doorbell, utilizing stock mounting screws which were simply shortened to avoid hitting the wall surface. Apartment dwellers may find it helpful to use picture frame command hooks to secure the adapter to the wall, angled at 15 degrees towards the porch center and 5 degrees downward due to second-floor living arrangements. A convenient channel is also available for routing doorbell power from the original apartment doorbell. The print quality was excellent on the first attempt, and the Ring camera has proven to be a great addition. To prevent screw loosening over time, a small amount of glue was applied to the screw holes.
