Ring Door Camera Weather Cover

My Father-in-Law has a Ring Door Camera and was worried about it getting damaged by bad weather. I told him that these cameras are meant to be used outdoors, so he didn't have anything to worry about. He agreed that yes, it's quite expensive and maybe a cover would be a good idea. I explained again that there is no need for a cover because they are perfectly sealed. He said it was dark grey but a silver cover would probably work okay. I decided to make a cover anyway and produced V1 with a pretty big border around it. He liked the design, but then he said that maybe this design wasn't good because it must be blocking the sound somehow, since he can't hear properly. I pointed out that there are actually slots in the side near where the microphone is. But he said he doesn't want to put it on his phone, he wants it outside, right on the door. I decided to make a new version, V2 with a roof but no sides.
