Ring Carving Mount

I craft intricately detailed bent wood rings at Bentwood Forge, and many of them feature delicate carvings that require a stable mounting system for precise control. Engravers and jewelry makers utilize similar mounts with great success. I aimed to replicate this functionality in a custom design built by myself. This is the result. The accompanying .blend file showcases the actual workflow used to export STLs, including a brief animation demonstrating how the device assembles.
