A magnificent solid gold ring stands out with its unique cast design. The hoop of the ring tapers from a D-shaped cross section towards the plate, showcasing a deliberate narrowing effect. Three distinctive longitudinal grooves and vaulted ribs adorn the massive shoulders of the ring, adding to its grandeur. On one side of the oval ring plate (1.3 x 1.4 cm), separated from the rest of the ring, lies a three-line inscription: FLOR / ENTI (ne) / ZESES. This intricate design may have been crafted as a special gift for a senior Roman official or officer to commemorate a milestone event such as a New Year's celebration or birthday.
