A circle is a round band, typically crafted from metal, worn as an accessory. The term ring itself usually denotes the finger ornament, but when donned elsewhere on the body, the part affected must be clearly specified, such as earrings, neck rings, arm bands, and toe rings. Ornaments that fit loosely around the body are not classified as rings, so wristbands and cuffs do not fall into this category. In mythology, fiction, and fantasy stories, rings are often imbued with spiritual significance.
