This is a duel float holder for a rimless fish tank auto top off system. Specifically for the Waterbox Cube 20 though will work with many other rimless tanks. Included are a deeper and a shallower version. Also included is a frag rack with holes for suction cups of your choice, a dosing hose mount for 5mm hose and a mount for an ATO fill hose 10mm and 8mm hose. I made all the hose mounts to be snug, so you will need to use a little elbow grease to feed the hose thru. Once it, it will never slip out. No need for locking screws to pinch the hoses I printed mine with OVERTURE PETG. For the best quality threaded holes I would suggest between .15 and .20, though the lower end would be better in my opinion. No supports are needed (cept the ATO fill hose mount). Print it on its side and your golden. Unless you have superhuman skills in setting up your 3D printer for PETG I would suggest printing each bolt separately. They only take like 10 min each I believe. One at a time means no stringing and a better quality bolt. I also, run an M5 bolt thru the threads after printing to clean them up. Also I used 15% infill. Another thing about the bolts. Obviously they aren't as strong as a cast plastic bolt, but they aren't super weak either. Their only function is adjusting the level of your floats to somewhere you are happy. You have 20mm of adjustment up or down. With the screws all the way down you will have AROUND 45mm from the water level to the top of the glass in the rear sump area. Like this, if you keep around a gallon or less in your ATO reservoir and something should fail, it shouldn't cause an overflow onto your floor. I made this specifically for the Waterbox Cube 20 but it should work on most rimless tanks with a glass thickness of 6mm or less. It slides happily over the 6mm glass with a just snug fit and no forcing. There is a bolt on the back side for thinner glass, but also for making sure your mount doesn't slide around. Again, but make it snug enough so the mount doesn't move easily. For those of you wanting a higher water level, or want to use it on a rimless with without a rear sump, I've included a second mount that will be 25mm closer to the rim of the tank. I have not printed it yet, but its just shorter, nothing else has changed. The holes to mount the floats are 8.5mm diameter and the hole to run the wires thru is 6mm diameter. As for the float switches themselves. Originally I bought Anndason 6 Pieces Plastic PP Float Switch Fish Tank Liquid Water Level Sensor,Model: DP3500. They appeared to have the magnets exposed on the floats, thats a no go on a reef tank so I bought the Bulk Reef Supply Float Switch - Vertical Mount which has a sealed magnet. They're 10 bucks a piece though compared to the 12 bucks for 6 of the ones from Amazon. They both fit fine. The cheaper ones will probably be ok for fresh water. Any suggestions on improvements feel free to message me. Thanks! TLDR, print the mount of your choice, two long bolts and 1 short bolt. ADDED I've also included a simple frag rack and a dosing mount for 4 hoses that will snugly fit 5mm hose as well as an ATO hose mount for 8 and 10mm hose. Enjoy
