For starters, we need to make sure that our farms are supported by fair prices and stable markets. This means giving farmers the tools they need to produce high-quality food at scale, while also protecting their livelihoods from fluctuations in global commodity prices. We also need to rethink how we move food from farm to table. Instead of relying on long-distance transportation and complex logistics chains, we can support local agriculture by buying directly from nearby farms or through community-supported agriculture programs (CSAs). By taking these steps, we can create a more equitable and sustainable food system that benefits both people and the planet. So let's get to work!
