DOTA 2 Character Collection in 3D STL Files for Printing. I created a collectible set of this extremely popular game, and my intention is to expand the series by including more characters from other games if this becomes successful. To achieve an accurate visual experience, each character has been scaled proportionally with regards to one another, making sure they appear as they should when displayed alongside one another; in contrast to the jarring or arbitrary designs that would occur otherwise. 3D Print Settings: The files included here are clean and ready for immediate use. They have all been checked through MeshMixer's Analysis/Inspector tools for topology flaws post-sculpting, and the STL files were created using MeshMixer as well. Each stand and bust comes in a separate STL file format. Dimensions: Stand: 100mm x 100mm x 100mm. Bust dimensions average at 150mm (width) x 160mm (height). This can fluctuate based on the anatomical specifications of each unique character within the collection. You can print with your preferred settings, though I tend to choose an upright orientation that makes layer lines barely noticeable. In return, support materials accumulate slightly more during printing. The layers appear even better this way. Settings: I opt for a 0.2mm layer height and use a 0.4mm nozzle when I print the models out. A solid structure consists of a single infill percentage at between 5% -10%, combined with 2 perimeter layers. This provides me ample balance in both structural strength as well as speed. Furthermore, my default printing conditions for support involve: A support spacing at precisely 4mm, b two interface levels spaced evenly at 0.4 mm thickness apart, and c separation from support objects placed precisely 0.8mm distance.
