Riichi Mahjong Wind Board
thingiverse
Two players face off on opposite sides: east round and south round, each with their own wind direction. Each player has slots for the riichi stick. The board rotates when dealing is switched to another dealer. When entering south round, flip the board over. Here's a simple points lookup table that I've printed out. Since 20 fu can be calculated from 40 fu points, it was skipped. I used tinted gray acrylics with excellent visibility for engravings, and no engravings on the back side will be visible when viewed from above. Wood can also be used as a material. A thickness of 3mm is ideal because the riichi stick can easily fit into its slot. Thicker boards might make it difficult to pick up the sticks. Alternatively, you can cut three pieces: two sides and one blank board in between them, then glue everything together. This could work particularly well for wood.
