Rigidbot Z Limit upgrade
thingiverse
I was inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:362662 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:417410 to upgrade my Z limit switch for better bed leveling control, resulting in precise prints every time. After analyzing the original designs, I couldn't find a perfect fit, so I created a new one that meets my specific needs. To install this improved Z limit switch holder, simply slide it over the two cylindrical protrusions from the bearing holder on the X-axis gantry and lock it into place using two 3mm x 5mm screws. I used a sturdy 3mm x 16mm screw for vertical adjustment to ensure a stable connection. With this setup, you can then rotate the Z access switch by about 180 degrees from its original position and start fine-tuning your bed level with ease. I've included a second hole in case you prefer to reverse the switch position, giving you flexibility in your leveling adjustments.
