Rigidbot z axis bump
thingiverse
This nub serves as a safeguard on the Rigidbot printer, halting backlash on the z-axis in its tracks. I've opted for just one nub on the right side of the printer, leaving the left side to handle the limit switch - this prevents the motor from careening out of control once the other motor comes to a stop. Although I'm still unsure about what's behind this problem, the addition of this nub has effectively eradicated my z-axis binding issues.
