These caps are designed specifically for the Rigidbot, compatible with both RB1 and RBBig models. They replace the standard spool rod holder ends, allowing for a rapid change method of the spools by simply lifting the rod out of the channels. By removing the stock plastic inserts from the ends of the spool rod support tubing, these caps can snap over the ends seamlessly. Consult the pictures to see the swap-out sequence in action. These caps are engineered to hold an 8mm rod and will fit comfortably over 3/4" or 19mm square tubing. The STL file includes one cap that is Cura scaled and oriented for printing, requiring a total of two caps to be printed. The caps fit snugly and have a slight taper to the square hole for the tube insert, allowing the cap to tighten as you press it down over the tubing.
