Rigidbot heated bed energy chain mount brackets
thingiverse
This is a modification for installing a 10x20mm energy chain on your Rigidbot heated bed cable. You must drill two M4 threaded holes into the frame pipes and three M4 threaded holes into the heated bed base plate, or equivalent inch threaded holes since the mounting holes in the brackets are 4.5mm. The cable needs to be extended by approximately 15-20cm. Five M4 screws that are 10mm long are necessary for mounting. Some additional notes: The energy chain's inner bending radius is about 17mm. Ensure that the chassis end mount bracket is situated directly next to the Y stepper motor. If the bed end bracket is installed too far towards the edge, it will collide with the case of the main board. I printed an extension for the chain to reduce actual chain usage; don't be confused by this. Print Settings: Printer: Rigidbot Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: Printed using ABS. Post-Printing: Remove support material. Smooth all sliding surfaces with a file.
