This adapter empowers users to mount the RigidBot Extruder PCB at a 90-degree offset from its standard design. This offset positioning allows the ribbon cable to flex along the axis of motion, just like flat cables prefer, rather than applying torque to the IDC connector. Installation requires printing the adapter "upside down" on your build platform. The intention is for the cylinders to be positioned below the PCB, which places the cutouts in line with the pins beneath the PCB and brings the Thermistor connector close to the heatsink. The PCB mounting holes are 3mm in diameter and should self-tap with the M3 screws included in the kit since printers often undersize inner diameters. The adapter's mounting holes measure 3.35mm in diameter, allowing M3 screws to pass through and engage threaded inserts within the extruder body.
