These enclosures are designed to be used in conjunction with plexi/lexan panels to protect your Rigidbot (standard size) from drafts that could warp delicate components, as well as for fume extraction purposes.\nThey need to be small enough so the printer still has a full range of motion while allowing it to move forward and backward freely. The front and rear panels extend slightly so the table can pass through without issue, and the top panels allow room for the gantry to operate when at its highest point.\nThe spool holder must be shifted from one side of the frame to the other with a longer rod extended.\n\n \n \n Assembly Instructions\nProceed at your own risk - I will not be held accountable for any damage or injuries that occur.\nMaterials required:\n-lexan panels, ideally 18x24 inches in size to minimize cutting tasks\n-M3 x 10mm screws, quantity of four needed\n-CA adhesive (super glue)\n-8mm x 47cm spool rod\n-means of cutting lexan (such as a dremel or jigsaw tool)\n-drill and 3mm bit Make sure you've read through all these steps before beginning work. This guide is merely a general outline. As my prints took an unusually long time to complete, I decided to reduce their quality while still printing everything required. Ultimately, I ended up shortening the pieces and taping the seams together instead.\nCut two panels of each size except for the top horizontal panel, which requires only one cut. I recommend making these cuts as you go and double-checking fitment at each step.\nTo attach the left and right lexan panels, use the "lexan side upper supports" and "lexan side lower supports". Be sure not to glue the panels onto the lower supports, as this would make it extremely difficult to remove the enclosure later on. Line up the upper supports, mark where you need to drill holes in the panel, then secure the panel using screws. Now apply a small amount of CA adhesive to the "front and rear panel sliders - bottom" and attach them to the four corners at the base of both left and right lexan panels. Ensure that larger slots face inward and that's what the front and rear panels will slide into.\nOn top of those lower sliders, glue the "front and rear panel sliders - top". \nNext, place a small amount of adhesive on the upper edges of both the left and right panels to attach them, making sure to also stick in the top panel as well.\nOnce the previous steps have been completed, place the "diagonal panel lower mounts" on the top of the frame's front and rear sides. Securely attach them using CA adhesive, then ensure they're stuck firmly onto the top surface of the front/rear lexan panels. Now, fit those top diagonal pieces into their mounts from earlier in the assembly guide.\nAdd glue to both ends of "top center cover angled clips" that were placed at an angle. Place these clips on either side of a small gap, so filament passes through as it normally would then place the remaining parts around them. Now use your dremel and jigsaw tool to carefully trace out a shape like a trapezoid on two panels, but remember leave enough room for some extra clips.\nNext take your clips "top center cover 90deg" clips) attach those clips firmly onto the upper part of each panel as well. You will then place additional 90 degree clips near that same diagonal area. Finally use CA adhesive to stick these trapezoid shaped panels firmly onto their designated locations.
